    North Berwick is a fabulous seaside town full of great independent shops — including our local butcher where we use black pudding and haggis for our Scottish breakfast. Add in some fabulous eateries to create a wonderful food and drink trail.

  • East Fortune National Museum of Flight

    15 MIN DRIVE

    A wonderful family day out or for those interested in all things to do with planes. Explore the hangers, take part in a Second World War Trail or climb aboard Concord.

    Take it a little slower and without masses of effort by exploring East Lothian by electric bike. Tina has teamed up with another local business Wine Wednesday to offer food and drink tours too taking in ourselves and other fantastic eateries along the way.

  • Fox Lake

    ADRENALINE-FUELLED FUN

    Foxlake near Dunbar has loads to do: Wakeboarding, over water ropes course, treetop zip trail and Segway riding. Continue the food and drink trail into their cafe.

  • East Links Family Park

    A 15 minute drive from Drift will take you to East Links Family Park just outside Dunbar. Farm animals, a train ride through the park and many themed activities await, providing plenty of fun for all the family.

  • Kilduff Pumpkin Patch

    Booking online from late September is a must to ensure your ticket. Once at the Patch enjoy selecting your pumpkins both for carving and serving up culinary delights, play the many games spread around and run through the bale maze. We also have our Takeaway Trailer serving up fresh coffee and freshly baked sweet treats.

    Ocean Vertical are a local company who take small groups out paddle-boarding and coasteering in the summer or mountain adventures in the winter. They also leave super information postcards at Drift which double up as postcards to send home.

    Sally takes wonderfully relaxing yoga classes at Drift on the last Sunday of every month. This is followed by brunch and a time to chat with fellow class members. Sally also helps you unwind further through Ayurveda and massages.

    A short walk from Drift Spectacular Tantallon Castle is worth a visit. Sadly the inside is closed to members of the public however the walk around the grounds is still impressive with plenty photo opportunities of our wonderful coast line.

    Just 2 miles down the road from Drift, in North Berwick is the Scottish Seabird Centre. Visit their interactive Discovery Experience to explore and learn about the wonders of Scotland’s marine environment. From here you can also book wildlife boat trips out to the Bass Rock.

    A wonderful sensory experience at this newly redeveloped Distillery is not far from Pencaitland, East Lothian. Learn how they create their rare Lowland style whisky on a walk-through, guided tour.

    Drift is around a mile and a half from Seacliff Stables where you can book in and go for a ride along the beach (weather permitting) and surrounding farm land on horse back.
